Rosenstigen is named after a rose found in monastery environments, Rosa alba ‘Gudhem’. A nature trail, about 2 km, through a cultural landscape that tells the story of how people have lived here for thousands of years.
This grain mill was built in 1884 and was owned by Ernst T. Jugner and August Pettersson. Later it was owned by the Ulunda mill- and limestone company.
The mill mainly produced oats, flour for cattle and health flour, and in 1903 the production was around 15 900 kg each week. The mill burnt down in 1923, and according to the stories the stones became a wall for the bishop in Skara.
