Rosenstigen is named after a rose found in monastery environments, Rosa alba ‘Gudhem’. A nature trail, about 2 km, through a cultural landscape that tells the story of how people have lived here for thousands of years.
The pictures show the north and south side of the ancient mill Bille kvarn, of which you can still see remains today. The mill building on the picture is most likely from 1823, but the old books tell us that there has been a mill on this sight for much longer. The mill was last in use in 1942, before it was demolished in 1945.
