Rosenstigen is named after a rose found in monastery environments, Rosa alba ‘Gudhem’. A nature trail, about 2 km, through a cultural landscape that tells the story of how people have lived here for thousands of years.
The major Swedish film about the knights templar Arn, based on the novel by Jan Guillou, was partially recorded here. Scenery, which illustrated Forsvik where Arn had his homestead, was built up by the creek and on the field. This was the most expensive film production in Swedish film history that far.
